Smoothie of the Week: Tropical Storm
This is week seven of...“Smoothie of the Week” (where I will share a new smoothie recipe Bebe B and I try). This week we had our smoothies at Breakfast. What a great way to start the day. This one was so yummy, tropical and packed full of vitamins, I loved it! Bebe B adored it too (although so far she hasn’t met a smoothie she didn’t like at least a little) Next week we are going to try one I am working on with spinach in it!
Tropical Storm Smoothie:
1/2 cup sliced organic strawberries
1 cup papaya chunks (frozen)
1 mango (cubed)
1/4 cup organic 100% carrot juice (look for pure juice w/ no added sweeteners)
I put the papaya chunks in the freezer over night before we made the smoothies. Simply whizz everything together and voila you have a tropical storm smoothie perfect for breakfast or any time of the day!
This recipe is vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free.
