About Us
Meet our Team:
Tara started Yummy Sprout in 2009 after careers in Early Childhood, Marketing and studying Nutrition and how food plays such an important role in health and happiness. What started as a simple food blog with the goal of bringing healthy easy recipes to families has grown into a business that includes culinary classes, camps, events, parties, field trips and more. Visit CLASSES & EVENTS to view upcoming schedule. Mom to two energetic daughters, Bianca and Iyla she is passionate about inspiring others to cook healthy, delicious and allergy-friendly food. Tara has been featured in the Wisconsin State Journal, on WISC-TV and NBC15 on topics including homemade baby food, cooking with kids, packing healthy lunches and allergy-friendly food and also shares her recipes on Madison Moms Blog. She adores living in Madison and all it has to offer family life. Her favorite ways to spend time include messing up her kitchen while recipe testing, running, yoga, writing, painting, traveling and reading books with her girls.

Where did you get the silver lunch box in your pictures?
ReplyDeleteIt's a planetbox. Pricey but worth it in my opinion, durable easy to pack and washes in the dishwasher:) http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/planet-lunch-box-pink-dot-chocolate-owl/?cm_src=AutoCSLPIP
DeleteYou have a wonderful site with great ideas!
ReplyDeleteThank You Katie!!

ReplyDeleteCould you share what was in the trail mix at the afam event over the weekend. ...if there are specific brands you like please share specifically the vegis that were dried
ReplyDeleteThe dried fruit and veggies were Karen's Natural brand and Whole Foods Brand:)
DeleteAny chance you offer prepared lunches for teachers including delivery to school? I am looking for something like this for this coming school year...even 2-3 days a week would be helpful.
ReplyDeleteWe don't currently but we have had a lot of requests for a packed lunch program so it's something we are working on:)
