Apple Picking

Bebe B and I went apple picking today in preparation for her upcoming first birthday party.  It was wonderful.  I had Bebe B in our hip sling and she could reach up and help me pull apples off the trees.  We managed to pick quite a few, which was great since we needed a lot to use for our give-away bags (small shopper bags from Whole Foods Market full of fresh picked apples and tied with a bow).  It was so fun to see Bebe B experience this American past time for the first time with amazement and wonder in her eyes.  Next year will be even more fun as she will be able to walk and run!
