Super Greens Recovery Smoothie
No matter if you are coming back from a run, a family bike ride or have been chasing toddlers around all day, your body needs to replace the nutrients lost through burning energy. The same thing is true for kids as well. This smoothie is loaded nutrition and hydration perfect for after an active day for you and your kiddos! Super Greens Recovery Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup Spinach, frozen
1/2 cup Kale, frozen
1/2 cup Chard, frozen
1/2 cup Blueberries, frozen
1 Banana, peeled and frozen
2 Dates, pitted
1 ripe Mango
1 tbsp Chia Seed
1-2 cups Coconut Water
Using a blender, purée the mango, coconut water and dates together until smooth (about 2 minutes). Add the remaining ingredients and whizz until thick and creamy. You may need to add additional coconut water to thin to your desired consistency. Makes about 3-4 medium smoothies.
