Healing Turmeric Smoothie
We are knee deep in February and knee deep in the winter germies. Colds and flus are flying around like wildfire. This smoothie will help your body fight off those colds and flus. Loaded with turmeric which is naturally anti-viral, antiseptic and immune boosting. Ginger doubles your fighting power with it's ability to loosen congestion and ease the stomach. Lastly raw honey has strong antibacterial and anti-microbic properties. Plus it doesn't hurt that it tastes great!
Healing Turmeric Smoothie
Ingredients:
2 RIPE Bananas
1/4 cup Strawberries, frozen
1/2 RIPE Mango, cubed
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp fresh Ginger, pealed and minced
1 tbsp Raw Honey
1/2 cup Ice
1/2 cup Coconut Milk (or water)
Add all of the ingredients to a blender. Whizz it up until a creamy smoothie texture is reached. You can add more or less of the coconut milk or water depending on how thin you like it. This recipes makes about 2 medium smoothies. Enjoy!! ps. Omit honey for children under age 1.
